These tires rock! They are solid, good for all types of terrain from dirt to sand, loose grave and rocks, to DOT approved for cutting across roads and highways. My first tire lasted two years of hard abuse and I am just not picking another one up. Thanks for a solid product!

Mounted and balanced last weekend and immediately went out for break in. Was a bit apprehensive mounting on a cold day with such stiff sidewalls especially being the first time using my new tire changer, but the Rabaconda Street Bike tire changer made light work of the task. Rode 100 miles, both on street and technical off road trail (Flagpole Knob VA) with lots of elevation changes including rock, water, and mud. These tires are nothing short of superb. Confidence inspiring on dry, twisty asphalt and even better traction in the gnarly stuff. Was running a little higher pressure than normal (30psi front/rear). Since I ride the 701 on road only to get to and from my favorite trails it was 30+ miles to pick up this particular one. I replaced OEM TKC that lasted only 2,600 miles. Hoping for better longevity from these, but that's yet to be seen. So far a great tire, highly recommend!

Very good mud rejection and traction off road. Good on rocks, good in sand, perfect for gravel and moist dirt. Front will wear funny with lots of high speed tarmac riding, but otherwise they last surprisingly long for how aggressive the tread pattern is. Have many days of 80mph freeway riding as well, never felt sketchy. Also can corner on asphalt surprisingly hard with no detectable roll over.

Chose these as a front tire for a trip to Montana and the ID BDR. and matched them with the Tractinator Adventure on the rear. They performed well in a variety of conditions and show almost no wear and no cupping after over a 2,000 mile ride. They gripped and handled well on wet and rocky terrain, but at one point they became noisy on pavement,. In riding them since the trip I have not had the howling sound from when they were new.
